We Know Events

As our client list shows, our band has been blessed by performing at corporate, nonprofit and private events for many years and we have learned what makes events...special!

This past year Robert Lee Kobb was hired by SMU (Southern Methodist University) as the head of Entertainment and Presentations for the Athletic Department.

Over the last nine months he and the Local Heroes have produced 50 NCAA sporting events along with several other exciting events including winter and spring Graduations. His work at SMU has helped the school return to prominence after 25 years of losing seasons.

This year SMU has gone from a 1 and 11 season to a 8 and 5. This is the largest turn around in the Division 1 College ranks which climaxed in a 45 -10 win over the University of Nevada in the Sheraton Hawaii Bowl Championship.

Now Robert Lee and his band The Local Heroes will be returning to the private event business with the same personalized enthusiasm which has always made this group a crowd pleasing standout. Dates will go quickly, so please look ahead and book ahead.
